Wyoming Disabled Hunters Organization
Wyoming Disabled Hunters is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization founded in 2008 and run
completely by volunteers. Our mission is “To provide an affordable hunt for disabled hunters.”
We currently offer elk, deer and antelope hunts for rifle and archery in Cody, Powell, Hyattville,
Meeteese and Ten Sleep, Wyoming for hunters from across the United States. The first hunt was
in 2009 and consisted of 4 archery deer hunters. The number of hunts has grown and we now
offer approximately 34 elk, deer and antelope hunts each year. The disabled hunters are both
veterans and non-veterans and our success rate runs around 85-90%.
