12-Year-Old Emma’s First Black Bear Hunt

One of our North American Hunting Competition contestants, Scott Napoli, recently wrote an article about a young, 12-year-old hunter named Emma that he recently mentored on her first ever bear hunt. Scott is an Oregon Hunter Education Instructor and has been sharing his passion for the outdoors with kids and adults interested in hunting for several years. One of his passions is to educate kids to be safe and ethical hunters. Mentoring Emma in the field was a great experience for him and especially for Emma, as she landed her first Black Bear.
